UT Dallas Basketball finished its 2015-16 season with an impressive 17-9 overall record (9-6 in conference play) that clinched the team second place in the East Division.
The squad has been rock solid in the last few seasons, led by Caleb Banks who averaged 13.1 points per game. The fans were louder than ever, and Temoc (our mascot) went absolutely nuts during the 88-52 win that I attended! The Comet Dancers threw out prizes to some lucky fans, and the three-pointers by guards like Max Riemenschneider and Clay Brawner had the crowd doing the famous “Whoosh!”
The place was packed that night, and I’m sure with such great talent that will not change. I highly recommend going to the UT Dallas Basketball games next year, but for now go take a break from all that studying and check out Comet Baseball, Tennis and many other sports that have just gotten under way this spring!
